The Gambella People Democratic Coalition and the Gambella People United Movement, two parties that recently formed a united front, have agreed to implement the joint struggle agreement they have reached with Patriotic Ginbot 7, an armed group opposing the regime in Addis Ababa.
The two parties that form the Gambella People Democratic Coalition Front said in a statement that it is extremely critical to come together as one if the struggle to free Ethiopia to bear fruit.
The statement which said the joint struggle is multidimensional and all encompassing, also condemned the brutal killings perpetrated by the regime against the people of Oromia and vowed to stand by the people of Oromia in their struggle against the minority regime.
The Front also denounced the decision by the regime to cede huge tracts of land to the Sudan in the pretext of demarcating the border between the two countries. It also condemn the scramble by officials and benefactors of the regime to take away land from poor farming communities around Addis Ababa.
