 Ethiopian Airlines will resume direct flights between Abidjan and New York starting from May 29, 2023 after three years since it suspended the flight in March 2020 because of COVID-19. Mesfin Tassew, the CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, stated, “we have been increasing frequencies and adding new destinations in Africa, Europe, Middle East, and Asia in the past couple of months and we are delighted that the Abidjan-New York route is coming again”.
